Services provided for candidates:

  • Initial E-mail or telephone contact to introduce Barquist Zitzke Associates, LLC, and job search
  • Determine candidate goals, focusing on how goals and candidate credentials meet requirements of job opening
  • Determine whether re-location is a viable option, if required by job opening
  • Describe salient details of the employer and job opening in unbiased manner. Discuss pro’s and con’s of opening in comparison to goals
  • Advise candidate of required credentials
  • If candidate wants to go forward, request that they complete our Pre-Search Assessment so that we can best represent candidate to our client employer
  • Obtain permission from candidate to submit resume to our client employer
  • After submission of resume to client, stay in close contact with both client and candidate until interview is scheduled or declined by either party
  • Obtain any credentials or references required by client employer
  • Schedule interview with candidate, providing any and all detailed information regarding client location, directions, contact person, phone number, web site, etc.
  • Follow up interview with both candidate and client to determine areas of agreement, questions, current status, and next steps
  • If requested by client, schedule any additional interviews or request any additional information requested
  • If requested by client, negotiate salary and offer details with candidate
